Dr. Savannah Lord, DSW, LICSW, LADC

Dr. Lord is the Clinical Director of Eden Valley in Burlington, Vermont. She is a Doctor of Social Work, a consultant, and a clinical supervisor.

Her work draws on clinical practice, community partnership and organizational leadership. She is committed to equity and social justice. She works toward that through trauma-informed practice and systemic change.

Dr. Lord holds Vermont licenses. You can verify any clinician’s license with the state licensing board.

Approach

Dr. Lord balances compassion with directness. She is patient and gentle. She is also to the point. Her work starts with core needs and fears, and she addresses them with compassion and curiosity.

She provides Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and comprehensive substance use and mental health assessments. She works with adults who are navigating substance use, recovery, phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

Her clinical training also includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Eden Valley is the clinical program of Revolution Youth, Inc., a Vermont 501(c)(3), in Burlington. Dr. Lord leads clinical work there. Her leadership focuses on strategic planning, policy advocacy and organizational change.
